2025 was a big year for Ben’s product team.

Over the past 12 months, we launched over 85 new features and product updates across the Ben employee benefits platform – each one designed to help Reward and Benefits leaders bring more clarity, confidence and impact to their benefits strategies.

Our aim is always to bring meaningful, practical progress across the entire benefits lifecycle – for the teams managing complexity behind the scenes, and the employees engaging with benefits every day.

That pace of delivery matters. Because benefits aren’t standing still. And neither are the organisations managing them.

At Ben, we believe the future of benefits isn’t about battling against the complexity that global enterprises face. It’s about building technology that embraces that reality – and brings clarity through it.

And rather than writing a long list of everything we shipped this year, we’d rather let you explore the highlights for yourself.

85+ updates, one clear focus

While the updates we shipped in 2025 span a wide range of features and workflows, they were all guided by the same core goal:

Helping Benefits teams turn complexity into clarity – and clarity into impact.

Across the year, our innovation consistently focused on three areas.

1. Helping employees understand and use their benefits

Most organisations already offer valuable benefits. The challenge is helping employees actually see that value.

In 2025, we invested heavily in improving how employees:

  • Discover relevant benefits
  • Understand what’s available to them
  • Get guidance in plain language
  • Access everything easily, whether desk-based or deskless

From AI-led personalisation and guided onboarding, to major mobile experience improvements and better access for frontline teams, these updates were about making benefits feel intuitive and helpful – not overwhelming.

2. Stronger operational foundations for Benefits teams

Behind every great benefits experience is a huge amount of operational work – and very little room for error.

A large number of our 2025 updates focused on helping Benefits teams:

  • Reduce manual admin
  • Improve payroll and reconciliation clarity
  • Get cleaner, more trustworthy reporting
  • Spend less time firefighting and more time leading

These improvements aren’t always the most visible - but they’re the ones that give enterprise teams confidence that their benefits strategy is running accurately, compliantly and at scale.

Because small issues in benefits rarely stay small for long.

3. Intelligent control at enterprise scale

Throughout 2025, we continued to invest in tools that give Benefits teams:

  • Clear control over structure, permissions and governance
  • Automation that supports decision-making
  • The ability to scale across countries, workforces and benefit types without friction

The result is an employee benefits platform that flexes with complexity, instead of being derailed by it.

A year of momentum - and what it unlocks next

2025 also marked an important milestone for Ben with the announcement of our $27.5m Series B funding.

That investment will allow us to continue doing what we do best: Building a modern, enterprise-grade employee benefits platform that’s designed for global complexity, evolving needs, and long-term impact.

Looking ahead to 2026: clarity by design

As we head into 2026, we’re sharpening how we think about product development - not just what we build, but how we organise it.

Our product planning is now guided by a clear three-pillar framework:

  • Benefits Management: Making global and local benefits easier to manage, reconcile and govern.
  • Benefits Experience: Helping employees understand, value and use their benefits through personalised, accessible experiences.
  • Benefits Insights: Turning benefits data into intelligence that supports better decisions and clearer ROI conversations.

Together, these pillars create a continuous clarity loop - where operational data, employee behaviour and strategic insight constantly improve one another.

That’s how meaningful innovation compounds.
