We’re making some exciting updates to the Ben dashboard, which will make it a lot easier for employees to navigate the platform and get faster snapshots of their benefits.
Let's explore what's new:
1. Reminders
We’re adding a "Reminders" section to our employee dashboard to help employees stay up-to-date with their benefits and allowances. When employees log in to Ben, they’ll now be able to see, at a glance, when:
- Opt-in/opt-out windows are closing soon. This will help ensure employees aren’t caught out by benefits deadlines.
- Allowances are expiring or renewing.
Think of this feature as your employees’ own personal benefits assistant. It’ll flag what actions they need to take to get the most out of their benefits.
2. Total compensation overview
How you communicate the total value of your benefits offering to employees can be a game changer for improving engagement.
All employees who have flexible allowances, pension and benefits can now get insights into their total compensation package via the Ben dashboard. This includes a concise snapshot of their salary, pension, wallet, and benefits to help them better appreciate the value of their full offering!
3. Benefit contribution overview
Employees can now see, at a glance, how they contribute to their benefits. From adding a dependant to their health insurance to additional wellbeing and mental health support, this dashboard feature simplifies how employees can view and understand their benefit contributions through Ben. This way, employees can better manage and plan their benefit investments.
4. Enrolled benefits overview
Employees can now easily see their current benefits and benefits available to enrol in via their homepage dashboard. This summary keeps employees informed about the status of their benefits and opportunities for benefits they might want to consider in the future.
This way, you won’t have to worry about making your entire team aware every time a benefit becomes available—they’re empowered to action it themselves!
5. Wallet overview: allowances, simplified
Empowering employees to manage their allowances effectively is key to maximising your benefits engagement. Employees with flexible allowances will now be able to monitor their wallet balances straight from their homepage dashboard!
6. Helpful links
Finally, we’ve added a bunch of helpful links to resources which employees can access from their dashboard. As a standard, these include how-to articles, help articles, and links to the Ben App.
P.S. We’re planning to introduce customisable link options for admins in the future, so keep your eyes peeled for this update…
